Linux Blogger Editor.

Wow, it's really awkward the way API's change over time... looks like none of the "normal" blog editors on Linux support Gdata, so I've had all sorts of fun finding a client that I can use to post here.

I used Petrus in the end, but I'd much prefer a GTK based one that fits in with the rest of my desktop applications...

Drivel looks nice, but it's not been updated to support GData yet... that's made it useless for the moment.

Mabe I'll try blogging?

Since I've been looking at various software for interfacing with blogging sites, I guess I might try to do some updates. I'm not totally sure much of this will be interesting, but we'll see...

It seems like it's a bad time to be in the IT industry, most of the IT functions where I'm working at the moment are being considered for outsourcing to India. It may be that my team is too focussed on bespoke applications to be included, but we'll see. I imagine it will be a disaster one way or another, but then I've seen the code that comes back from outsourced developers.... Your web application takes 15 minutes to start up?...

Well, it seems to have created an entire blog for me... I just want to comment on other people's... mabe I'll use it at some point... o_O
